Bank of Baroda Introduces Cardless Cash Withdrawal Facility through UPI
Bank of Baroda (BoB) has recently made an exciting announcement. According to their statement, they are the first public sector bank in India to offer cash withdrawal from ATMs through UPI (Unified Payments Interface). This means that customers of BoB as well as customers of other participating banks who use BHIM UPI or other UPI applications will be able to withdraw cash from BoB ATMs.
No Debit Card Required for Cash Withdrawal
The best part is that customers will no longer need to use their debit cards to withdraw cash from Bank of Baroda’s ATMs. To avail this service, customers simply need to select the “UPI Cash Withdrawal” option at the Bank of Baroda ATM. After entering the desired withdrawal amount, a QR code will be displayed on the ATM screen.
Easy Steps for Cash Withdrawal
To proceed with the transaction, customers must scan the displayed QR code using an authorized UPI app for ICCW (Cardless Cash Withdrawal) and authorize the transaction. This innovative feature allows customers to enjoy the freedom of withdrawing cash without the need for a physical card.
Withdraw up to Rs. 5,000
At Bank of Baroda ATMs, customers can make two transactions per day using the Cardless Cash Withdrawal facility. Each transaction allows a maximum withdrawal of Rs. 5,000 at a time.
