Vande Bharat Express: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has presented the first Vande Bharat train to Uttarakhand, a beautiful hill state in India. Through a video conference, the Prime Minister inaugurated the train, which departed from Delhi’s Anand Vihar station and will reach Dehradun.

In addition to this, the Prime Minister also dedicated a newly electrified rail section in Uttarakhand to the nation. The Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat train is the 17th Vande Bharat train to operate in the country. This train is built using 100% indigenous technology, with a focus on passenger safety and convenience. Previously, the Prime Minister had inaugurated this train between Puri and Howrah.

The Vande Bharat train is being operated by Indian Railways in various states, connecting the north to the south and the east to the west. Today, we will provide you with information about the routes where this train is currently running.

New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express

The first Vande Bharat train in the country was inaugurated on February 15, 2019, running between New Delhi and Varanasi. This train operates six days a week, excluding Thursdays, completing the 749-kilometer journey in just 8 hours.

New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express

This Vande Bharat train connects Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. It covers the distance in 8 hours and operates on all days except Tuesdays.

Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express

Operating six days a week, except Tuesdays, the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express departs from Mumbai to Gandhinagar at 6 am, completing the 522-kilometer journey in 6.25 hours.

New Delhi-Amb Andaura Vande Bharat Express

The New Delhi-Amb Andaura Vande Bharat Express connects New Delhi to Amb-Andaura in Himachal Pradesh. It operates daily, except Fridays, departing from New Delhi at 5.50 am and arriving at Amb Andaura at 11.05 am.

Chennai-Mysore Vande Bharat Express

The Nagpur-Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express is the sixth Vande Bharat train in the country, running between Nagpur, Maharashtra, and Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. It operates daily, except Saturdays, departing from Nagpur at 2:05 pm and reaching Bilaspur at 7:35 pm.

Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express

The Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express is the seventh Vande Bharat train in India and the first from West Bengal. It operates daily, except Wednesdays, departing from Howrah at 5:55 am and arriving at New Jalpaiguri at 1:25 am.

Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express

The eighth Vande Bharat train in the country runs between Secunderabad, Telangana, and Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It departs from Secunderabad at 3 am and arrives in Visakhapatnam at 11:30 pm. This train operates on all days except Sundays.

Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express

The Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express operates six days a week, except Wednesdays. It departs from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) at 4:05 pm and reaches Solapur at 10:40 pm.

Mumbai-Shirdi Vande Bharat Express

The 700-kilometer journey is completed in 7 hours and 45 minutes. This train operates six days a week, excluding Saturdays, departing from Bhopal at 5:55 am and arriving in Delhi at 1:45 am.

Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express

The Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express completes the 660-kilometer journey between Secunderabad and Tirupati in just 8 hours and 30 minutes. It departs from Secunderabad at 6 am and reaches Tirupati at 2:30 pm. This train operates six days a week, except Tuesdays.

Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express

It operates between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod, departing from Thiruvananthapuram at 5:20 am and reaching Kasaragod at 1:25 am. The journey covers a distance of 586 kilometers in 8 hours and 5 minutes.

Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express

The Vande Bharat train between Puri and Howrah was flagged off by PM Modi on May 19. It operates six days a week, excluding Thursdays, completing the 502-kilometer journey in 6 hours and 45 minutes.

Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat Express

PM Modi has recently introduced the 17th Vande Bharat train, which will operate regularly starting from May 29. This train completes the 302-kilometer journey in 4 hours and 45 minutes.
